They are soft flannel and have elastic waist pants and little button down shirt. The sleeves and cuffs are piped with satin, and are just incredibly soft. They are Toughskins, from Sear. I also got a train pair and a rocket ship pair in a bigger size.
These jammies are nice because the pants are easy on easy off- great for potty training!
