Prince Bel 1940's HIstorical outfit

This outfit is a genuine reproduction of an outfit that would have been worn by a little boy in the 1920-1930 time period. THe details of this outfit are amazing! INstead of elastic, the shorts are drawstring. The shirt buttons on the back fasten with a loop of ribbon
THe collar is really wide and the collar, sleeve and the legs of the shorts are alll trimed with white rickrack, and the fabric is adorablenavy and white gingham that is puckered for texture. I love this outfit so much I bought one for next year in baby blue and white! Maybe I will put his name on it!

Castles and Crowns Too Tall outfits

These two outfits are from the same line, TOo Tall, by castles and crowns. This is a one peice romper style one, short, with the peterpan collar piped in brown gingham.

Here is the jon jon of the outfit, with clearer view of the adorable smocking. I put and Imp peter pan dress shirt underneath, but it could be without.
I love these outfits, because while they are very smocked and everything, they are made of sturdy, dark corduroy.

Both of theseoutfits were had off Ebay. The shortall was only $12! ( I already had the white shirt) and the romper was $30, but it was NWT

Petit Ami Panda outfit

Super cute outfit from Petit Ami. Has a vaguely swedish or German feel to it, with how the overalls have the cross strap in the front. Very beautiful.
The detail of the outfit is incredible. The whole thing is piped in either red, or the houndstooth fabric. There are cute red buttons on the straps, but they don't unbutton.
Here is the view of the applique. It is a panda with three balls in the air. Very, very cute and kind of old fashioned.

Good Lad Overalls

Cute set by Good Lad (Macy's) Has awesome little applique of a teddy bear driving a truck full of toys.
THe plaid shirt ( which is a nice plaid, not a loud plaid) is echoed on the cuffs of the pants.
The overalls have cute quilting on the pockets. You can kind of see it here, under his arm, and on the outside pantleg. It's blue stiching on the tan fabric, which is actually a very soft, almost shiny polished cotton. This outfit is cute for trips to the farm or petting zoo or just play wear.

Cute short suit

Here is an adorable "schoolboys" style suit. The suit was put together by me, and all the pieces from different places. The shirt is an Imp dress shirt, the jacket it by Little Friends ( I got it from a thrift store, unsure of original origin) shorts from Garaminals, knee socks from treasure connections and TCP saddle shoes, navy and white
Really cute and old school looking. He looks like he ought to be attending preporatoy school.
A very big boy look for him. The jacket had a sailboat embroidered on it and is piped in navy fabric, and has brass buttons with anchors on them. The jacket is also fully lined. Very nice, for the $3 I paid for it.

Pirate Overalls from Gymboree

This pirate outfit came from Gymboree. The pirate references are small. There was a small stuffed dog in the pocket, but I cut it out because he didn't like it. THe onsie, under the overalls has a little pirate ship on it, as does the hat . He doesnt really care for hats

I put tendertoes gray and blue saddle shoes on him when we went out. And isn't this a cool picture, with the whole reflection thing and everything?

This is a cute outfit from sister companies Janine and Jack and Gymboree. I love the old fashioned look about it
The coveralls are made of super soft, light linen, and are embroidered all over with cute little geese. They are lined with sweet green and white check. These are from J&J. THe shirt is chocolate, light green, cream and white, from Gymboree, from the puppy pals line.

Gymboree Puppy Plaid

This outfit came from Gymboree, but the shirt is BT kids. ( they were out of the shirt it came with at Gymboree) The overalls are made of three different fabrics, all patchworked together. There's brown gingham and brown ticking stripe, and khaki, embroidered with adorable little brown and white puppies. They are short overalls as well. The shirt is a plain baby blue button down by BT Kids
Here's a full length of it. As you can see, its a bit big on him, but very cute. ( I know he has a head band on his head. He does it himself, when I get ready for the day.)

Ralph Lauren and Garanimals

This cute outfit is actually two brands ( I know, I know, uncharacteristic of me) The t-shirt is a Ralph Lauren Polo crest, gotten off Nordstrom Rack. The little plaid shorts are actually from Walmart (I know!) and they just happened to match the t shirt very well. Its a cool-casual outfit, dark and stain resistant. It gives him a real 'big boy' look. When he went out, he wore his blue race car robeez.

Eastern Seaboard line by Gymboree

What a fun outfit! WHen I put this on him, I just wanted to take him to the East Coast, like West Virginia, or something, or maybe Nantucket. It's so cute, and coastal looking. Everything he is wearing came from Gymboree.
The navy blue fisherman sandals are made of leather, and they are hard for him to get off, so yea!
The little shirt is a red, blue and white plaid, but the plaid overlaps itself in certain places, giving it a cool, demensional pattern. The short denim overalls have cute little red and blue crabs and lobsters on them. They are so adorable! Everything is a size 18-24 months, but really, I could see him wearing these next summer as they are quite big on him.

Handmade Apple JonJon

Let's just state the obvious first- he's covered in chocolate, yes, I know. But ignore the chocolate and look at the OUTFIT. Its a hand made red and green plaid jonjon, with an apple pattern. The smockins is done by hand too, little apples and one apple has a worm in it.
The shirt is done by Jack and Teddy, and is a favorite of mine, as I have used it with other jonjons.

Kate and Libby Corduroy Romper

THis cute outift by Kate and Libby is just begging to be monogrammed, so it will likely make a reappearance after I monogram it.
It has this sweet white peter pan collar, piped in blue, and banded sleeves and ankles
The legs are very full, remenicent of baby clothes from days gone by , but it isn't feminine at all. I intend to have his name put on the top in playful letters to make it more fun.

This outfit says 18 months, but it was very long on him, I wouldn't be surprised if he wore it until he was 2 or later.

Cute Easter Outfit

This outfit was worn on Easter, and it came from Sears. It snowed on Easter here, so we had to do our hunt inside. WHen we went out later, he wore white knee socks and his navy saddle shoes from the Children's Place.
The collar was piped in the same fabric as the shorts and adorable bow tie, making them coordinate perfectly. I ADORE the bow tie, which is just so cute and perfect. If I could have found a straw boater he would have looked like an adorable little barber shop quartet singer
Here's the back. Look at his chubby little feet! ( sorry) really, notice how the straps cross through each other in the back so they stay up.

Le Top Jungle Jazz shortalls

Here's a cute outfit by Le Top. Its khaki short overalls and an orange, tan and green striped t-shirt. There are little animals playing instruments all over it. On the front is an aligator playing a drum and the cargo pockets have monkeys and tigers playing horns and trumpets. The buttons even say "Jungle Jazz" on them as does the patch on the back. All the pockets on this ( there are 5 ) are all functional, not sewn shut at all. Again, he's wearing the stride ride fisherman sandals.

Castles and Crowns Whale Short Set

What a WONDERFUL little outfit! A sweet blue and green gingham is the main fabric from this new line from Castles and crowns ( it can still be purchased in the catalogs) Note the wide collar with the hand turned blue piping, and the matching piping around the smocking plate and sleeves.
The little whales are so bright and big, and they actually have a lot of colors in them that blend nicely. THere is even water for the whales to swim in!
The shorts were a bit long on Oliver, but they fit well at the waist. The shirt buttons up the back. THis was a size 12 months, but Oliver is wearing it at 18, so Casltes and crowns is generously sized.

Coco Bon Bons

This outfit is by Coco BonBons, which is a bright, fun children's brand. I actually got this at a discount store for only $6! I guess it was overstock, because they are usually more. Note the cute little inchbug on the soft white polo shirt.
Red Gingham short also have the little inchbug on the back pockets, and the polo shirt buttons with cute little red buttons. The fisherman sandals are Stride Rite.
Cute, and stain resistant. The shirt, while soft cotton, didn't pill in the wash.

Adorable Festive suit

This little gem was from Shopko, by Youngland. He wore it to a Sweetheart Banquet ( yes, I"m behind!)
THis outfit is all one peice, but looks like three. The red crushed velvet vest has little black buttons and tiny silver sparkles on it. The ivory collared shirt underneath was a very soft cotton, not stiff or scratchy at all. The black pants are also velvet.
(He doesn't usually drink out of a bottle, but they had no lidded cups at the dinner, so we had to!)
OVerall, he really looks like he should be a ringmaster, or a tap dancer, but yes, its adorable!
